Welcome ladies, gentlemen and friends from beyond the binary!

My name is Alex. I am a 27 year old nerd with a penchant for fantasy and music. Before you is the emporium, a landing page for my various online dealings.
I wanted an outlet for some of my projects and in an effort to move away from certain social media platforms I have decided to channel my inner 90s kid into this Neocities page!
This is very much a project site. I'm working and updating as I learn more about HTML. Nothing is set in stone here.

Four different pages up and running now.
I have the basic formatting sorted and adding new content shouldn't break large parts of the page anymore.

The diary is where I plan on keeping my more blog-style posts probably without a set topic, although I'll be trying to keep it organised so I may add more pages in future.

I think it's pretty obvious that I'm enjoying myself :3

New Page Alert - I made a music page where I get to infodump about my current favourite albums. I may even post a playlist someday. If you like prog metal check it out.

More improvements. More learning (often the hard way). The gallery css is broken at the moment so dont bother.
That's next on the agenda!

Scratch that. It's done. More photos to come but go check out some of the animals I have in my life (they're not all mine - and some are just wildlife). I think I'll work on descriptions in the coming weeks and I need to upload my originals to my pixelfed

Well, its been a solid 11 months since I last touched this festering mass I call a website. After an hour of figuring out what the fuck I was thinking back then, I managed to make significant improvements to the layout and formatting.

I think it's getting to the point where it's worthy of sharing.

I still have a number of things I need to fiddle with, namely decoration and fixing the broken links

For the most part, I've been enjoying playing around and seeing what I like. Unfortunately I found Spotify embeds too ugly for the left-side panel, so my music recs are going to be simple links. At least for now

This morning I spent a good chunk of time fixing all the broken flex elements and the mobile display formatting. I only have my phone to test it on though, so I'm not 100% sure if its working.

I still plan on making improvements as I learn. This is a project site afterall

Next on the agenda, I think I'll be making the gallery and archive pages. It's currently commented out but it is in the works
